Our independent retirement community encompasses five precincts named after national parks – Montague, Nadgee, Bomaderry, Morton and Brindabella – all set amid beautifully landscaped grounds with a remarkable array of facilities. The community offers a range of stylish 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, some with studies, enjoying sweeping views of Red Hill Nature Reserve, the district or the grounds.

We support you to be comfortably independent for as long as possible. Apartments are designed for your living enjoyment, with easy access and navigation. They’re cost-effective to adapt if your circumstances change, with wide corridors and spacious bathrooms. An emergency alarm call button provides peace of mind that help is available 24/7 should you need it.
Effortless maintenance
Never worry about your home or garden maintenance again so you can relax and spend more time doing the things you love with the people you love. We take care of the gardens, community spaces and repairs to your apartment’s original fixtures and fittings. Should you require other repairs within your home, your village manager can help you arrange these.
Resort style living
The retirement village is designed to enrich your life and keep your social calendar as full as you choose. A range of activities will be on offer and you'll have the choice to take part in as little or as much as you like.
In addition to organised activities and outings, we encourage residents to enjoy the communal spaces by setting up their own social calendars and running activities that interest them.
Yarra Rossa is your home – and your family and friends are welcome to use these community spaces when they are visiting you.

Our Living Well Philosophy supports our commitment to facilitating maximum enjoyment of your life and maintaining your lifestyle and independence. Should your health circumstances change, you’ll have the benefit of easy access to our Home Care Services and Residential Aged Care Homes.
In home care
As a unique BaptistCare advantage, we have introduced an innovative way to ensure you enjoy easy access to our Home Care Services as and when you need them. Approval times for Government-subsidised Home Care Packages can be long and it can often be difficult to fund these services yourself in the interim. So, while you wait for approval, we give you the option to draw down funds from your Yarra Rossa apartment to pay for BaptistCare Home Care Services.
Aged care homes
Not only do we help you live well, we ensure peace of mind regarding your future care, providing a seamless transition to aged care should the need arise. Yarra Rossa enjoys the convenience of two BaptistCare Residential Aged Care Homes in the neighbourhood, so you won’t have to move far from the community you love.

Making a move into retirement living and planning your finances takes time. That’s why we offer flexible financial options, and we’re available to meet with you to discuss your purchasing decision.
Moving into Yarra Rossa retirement village means that you won’t have to worry about stamp duty and GST – so your financial situation isn’t impacted by additional costs.
BaptistCare is also responsible for any costs associated with any item of capital replacement or repair, unlike a typical strata-titled home. This means you will never be charged a special levy for issues like a leaking roof. As a result, you’ll know exactly where you stand, and gain more financial security for the future.
