Located in the central suburb of Red Hill, this new BaptistCare retirement community is a place like no other. Featuring a range of apartment designs, outdoor gardens and walking tracks plus a wealth of high-end facilities in a resort-style community, Yarra Rossa is a place you’ll truly love.
At Yarra Rossa retirement village we’re here to ensure that you live life to the fullest and make the most of your retirement. Our independent retirement community encompasses five precincts named after national parks – Montague, Nadgee, Bomaderry, Morton and Brindabella – all set amid beautifully landscaped grounds with a remarkable array of facilities. The community offers a range of stylish 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, some with studies, enjoying sweeping views of Red Hill Nature Reserve, the district or the grounds.
We support you to be comfortably independent for as long as possible. Apartments are designed for your living enjoyment, with easy access and navigation. They’re cost-effective to adapt if your circumstances change, with wide corridors and spacious bathrooms. An emergency alarm call button provides peace of mind that help is available 24/7 should you need it.
Never worry about your home or garden maintenance again so you can relax and spend more time doing the things you love with the people you love. We take care of the gardens, community spaces and repairs to your apartment’s original fixtures and fittings. Should you require other repairs within your home, your village manager can help you arrange these.
The retirement village is designed to enrich your life and keep your social calendar as full as you choose. A range of activities will be on offer and you'll have the choice to take part in as little or as much as you like.
In addition to organised activities and outings, we encourage residents to enjoy the communal spaces by setting up their own social calendars and running activities that interest them.
Yarra Rossa is your home – and your family and friends are welcome to use these community spaces when they are visiting you.

Our Living Well Philosophy supports our commitment to facilitating maximum enjoyment of your life and maintaining your lifestyle and independence. Should your health circumstances change, you’ll have the benefit of easy access to our Home Care Services and Residential Aged Care Homes.
As a unique BaptistCare advantage, we have introduced an innovative way to ensure you enjoy easy access to our Home Care Services as and when you need them. Approval times for Government-subsidised Home Care Packages can be long and it can often be difficult to fund these services yourself in the interim. So, while you wait for approval, we give you the option to draw down funds from your Yarra Rossa apartment to pay for BaptistCare Home Care Services.
Not only do we help you live well, we ensure peace of mind regarding your future care, providing a seamless transition to aged care should the need arise. Yarra Rossa enjoys the convenience of two BaptistCare Residential Aged Care Homes in the neighbourhood, so you won’t have to move far from the community you love.
Making a move into retirement living and planning your finances takes time. That’s why we offer flexible financial options, and we’re available to meet with you to discuss your purchasing decision.
Moving into Yarra Rossa retirement village means that you won’t have to worry about stamp duty and GST – so your financial situation isn’t impacted by additional costs.
BaptistCare is also responsible for any costs associated with any item of capital replacement or repair, unlike a typical strata-titled home. This means you will never be charged a special levy for issues like a leaking roof. As a result, you’ll know exactly where you stand, and gain more financial security for the future.
Call us anytime to discuss how Yarra Rossa’s financial model can help you get more out of your retirement.
It’s important to know that behind each of our retirement living communities is BaptistCare. One of Australia’s leading Christian organisations since 1944, BaptistCare has been a long-term provider of retirement living, home care and residential aged care services.
While we are not-for-profit, there are a few things that we certainly are for: outstanding quality and a quest to truly make a difference, not just in our aged care and retirement living communities, but in all communities.
BaptistCare is a provider of affordable housing and supports those living in disadvantage through our work with BaptistCare HopeStreet.
BaptistCare supports more than 17,000 clients across NSW and the ACT through more than 160 facilities and programs, employing 4000 staff with a further 1000 volunteers. Our residents feel good to be part of a large organisation that makes a positive contribution to the broader community.
You will have to pay a departure fee when you leave this village.
